Surface Mount and NTC Chip Components - Gold and Silver Chips

Measurement Specialties offers a range of high reliability gold and silver terminated leadless chips suitable for today’s hybrid microelectronics requirements and are available in a range of resistance curves and tolerances. 400 & 700 Series Medical Probes

Following the purchase of BetaTHERM Sensors and YSI Temperature, Measurement Specialties now offers a full line of temperature sensing probes. For over 50 years these organizations have played a key role in temperature monitoring for healthcare. In the early 1950’s, the first practical electronic medical thermometer was introduced and shortly thereafter, the first interchangeable thermistor components, which evolved into the 400 Series Probes. Today Measurement Specialties offers a full line of disposable and reusable probes that are latex free and interface with vital signs monitors used throughout hospitals and clinics. Disk and Chip Discretes

Measurement Specialties has experience manufacturing highly accurate and stable temperature sensors for measurement, control, indication and compensation. Glass Beads and Glass Probes

Measurement Specialties offers unique small bead thermistor technology which enables the production of extremely small temperature sensors to meet market demands. Beads are ideal where a fast response times and high power sensitivities are required. Applications: fluid or gas flow measurement and control applications.

Thermopiles - Non Contact Sensing

Thermopiles are used for non-contact temperature measurement. The measurement principle is based on the detection of infrared radiation using micro-machined devices in silicon based technology. The device’s inherent DC coupling characteristic allows the operation without mechanical chopper. This technology applies to many applications in a variety of markets. Applications: thermometers, microwave ovens, room air conditioners, toasters, hair dryers, pyrometers, car climate controls, gas-detection and presence detection products.

   

Nickel 1000 Sensor

Measurement Specialties offers a nickel thin film resistance temperature detector (RTD) that is suitable for use in contact temperature sensing. The characteristics of the temperature sensor comply with the former DIN 43760. Applications: Temperature Sensing, control, compensation, general instrumentation, automotive sensing .
