Mass Air Flow Sensors
The mass air flow sensors of Measurement Specialties, Inc. are produced using an automotive proven thin film anemometer technology. The air flow is sensed by measuring the heat loss of a thin film heater. For fast response the heater is placed on a thin but rugged membrane. This results in sensitive and fast but also robust sensors.
The main application areas are mass air flow measurements for combustion engines in cars, medical and industrial air flow measurements. Custom Mass Air Flow Sensors are available as well.
